Watering Bags for Newly Planted Boulevard Trees

Since we're having an early spring, St. Paul Natural Resources will begin delivering tree watering bags this week! Keep an eye on the forecast and make sure it is 40 degrees F or higher before you water your trees. Frozen soil does not absorb water so it will not penetrate down into the roots.

If you've requested a bag before, keep an eye on your tree and you'll see it there soon. They will also leave watering instructions at your door.

**Please note, only boulevard trees planted within the last two years are eligible to receive these bags! However, it is still beneficial to water your trees, if you're able, especially when we get into the thick of summer.
